How do you see your selection and with what perspective do you face the Eurohockey2018?
I see the selection with great enthusiasm and very excited. We know that we have a great group and a very good coaching staff and we all trust a lot in the one we have next. We transfer this confidence later on the rink. We are eager to start now and get the European title.
What is the main function or what should a captain of a national team contribute?
I try to help my colleagues a lot in any subject they need so, I am there to help them with anything. Within the rink a captain has the function of organizing the game a bit but there are other players who can also do it and nothing, I try to help the team both inside and outside.
What does it mean for you to play Eurohockey in a city with as much tradition as A Coruña?
I think it’s one of the best cities to play hockey. I spent two years playing at the Hockey Club Liceo in, which I was very comfortable and is a city that has a lot of charm and where you can breathe hockey. The people of A Coruña turn to hockey, all the children … The people of A Coruña are great people who never hesitate to cheer up and I think we will have the advantage that people will come to support us.
