How do you see your selection and with what perspective do you face the Eurohockey2018?
The team is consolidated since we have been working together for several years achieving good results. We arrived at the European Championship knowing that Spain and Portugal are the national teams that start as favorites, but we will try to be part of the fight for the title.
What is the main function or what should a captain of a national team contribute?
The captain should try to keep the team together and help if a teammate has a problem, as well as make it clear that in a short but intense competition like this everyone’s contribution is fundamental, even if you play a minute or 50.
What does it mean for you to play Eurohockey in a city with as much tradition as A Coruña?It is a historic city for our sport with a fascinating Palacio de los Deportes de Riazor and that for Italy emanates big memories like the victory of the 1988 World Championship. It will surely be one more reason to do well.
