The 53rd European Men’s Championships of Roller Hockey was presented in the City Council of A Coruña

The 53rd Men’s European Championship of Roller Hockey was presented this morning at the City Council of A Coruña, which for the first time in its history will be held in Galicia, specifically in the city of A Coruña from July 14th to 22nd, with the participation of eleven national teams that will play all the matches in the Palacio de los Deportes de Riazor.

The event was attended by José Manuel Sande, Councillor for Sports, Culture and Knowledge of the City Council of A Coruña; Vicente Torres, president of the Galician Federation of Skating; Carmelo Paniagua, president of the Royal Spanish Skating Federation; and Fernando Graça, president of the European Roller Hockey Committee (CERS-Rink Hockey). All of them had influenced their interventions in the tradition of A Coruña with roller hockey, centralized mainly in the Hockey Club Liceo, but also in the large number of clubs and base players throughout the city and its metropolitan area.
