The CERS-Rink Hockey has confirmed on Tuesday 27th February that the city of A Coruña will host the European Men’s Senior Roller Hockey Championship, which will be held from July 15th or 16th to 21st or 22nd, depending on the number of national teams participating in it. The venue of the event will be the Palacio de los Deportes de Riazor, with a capacity for almost 4.500 people.
This will be the first time that Galicia organizes a Senior European Men’s Roller Hockey, where three World Championships have been held, specifically in A Coruña (1972 and 1988) and in Vigo and Pontevedra (2009), although Spain has also hosted several continental competitions throughout its history in Alcobendas (2014), Oviedo (2008 and 1987), Barcelona (1979 and 1957) and Bilbao (1967).
